Bus Transfers To and From Portland Jetport Airport

When arriving at Portland International Jetport (PWM), please make sure to collect your entire luggage before proceeding to your chosen means of transfer from the jetport. Available options of transfer include rental cars, taxis and bus services.

Buses at Portland Jetport

Greater Portland Transit District METRO provides Route #5, a bus service between downtown Portland and the Maine Mall area of South Portland with service outside Portland Jetport’s passenger terminal. The journey to downtown Portland from the jetport (inbound) takes approximately 20 minutes, while it takes approximately 10-15 minutes from the jetport to the Maine Mall (outbound). Not all departures stop at the airport, but most do.

Departures begin around 6.30 am and end around 10 pm during the weekdays. On Saturdays they begin around 7 am and end around 9.30 pm, while on Sundays they begin around 8-9 am and end around 5-6 pm.

The route offers connection to other METRO routes, Amtrak, South Portland Bus and ZOOM.

Greyhound at Portland Jetport

A Greyhound Bus station is located on 274 Marginal Way, Portland, ME 04101, United States. It is possible to travel from here to New York, Boston, and Bangor.

There is also a Greyhound Bus stop located closer to downtown on 389 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101, United States.

METRO Route #5 will transfer travelers to the city center.
